The Sun Flux is a DC/AC model which has DC solar input and a AC grid input giving you option to output either DC or AC directly to a standard electric hot water tank.
The Sun Flux II is a DC only model which is used for off grid and hybrid configurations.

For off grid configuration connect the Sun Flux II to a standard 80 to 320 litre electric hot water tank.
Single element tank off grid/on grid configuration connect the Sun Flux to a standard 80 to 320 litre tank and connect the AC grid to the Sun Flux which will give you the option to switch to the AC grid or off grid AC power supply if needed.
Twin element tank hybrid configuration connect the Sun Flux II to the lower thermostat and element and connect the AC grid to the upper thermostat and element of a standard 80 to 320 litre tank having the AC grid as an automatic backup if needed.
Instant gas hybrid configuration simply connect the Sun Flux II to a standard 80 to 320 litre tank before the instant gas hot water system having gas as an automatic backup if needed.
